BULACAN│Madlum Cave

Anyone who's planning to climb Mt. Manalmon or Mt. Gola will definitely pass through this part of the Madlum Cave. First, From the Jump off you have to cross the Madlum River via "balsa" (bamboo raft) or Monkey bridge.

After crossing the Madlum River, you will see the Station-of-the-cross-like that leads to the cave.

ENTRANCE

INSIDE THE CAVE
It was really dark upon entering the said cave, I advise to use your headlights and flashlight to keep you safe upon walking inside until you reach the end. Also, be careful upon stepping the marbles rocks because it's really slippery esp. when wet, like during rainy season, water drips down the cave from it's ceiling.

We're left again behind because of taking pictures. Oh, see that amazing dripstone on our right?

This the T.E.T.R.A group and Lovers' Lakwatsa (me and my bf) after Mt. Manalmon climb, passing through again the Cave.

Outside end of the Cave
Basically, this Cave is very easy even for beginners. Just open your eyes, lamps and your cameras!

GETTING THERE
We took Cabanatuan-bound bus from Cubao (at Five Star terminal near Cubao MRT station). Fare is 114/person. You can ask the “manong kundoktor” to drop you off to Brgy. Kamias tricycle terminal. From there, they will take you to jump-off at Brgy Madlum (P200/tricycle), approx. 45mins.

BUDGET
P228 - Bus fare (114 one way Cubao-Kamias)

P133 - tricycle fare (one way 200/tricycle)
P341 - TOTAL (*food and pasalubong are not yet included)

** Thanks to kuya Mel who took care of us to and from campsite to the jump-off. Photos and text are imported from my other site, felicitousgalaera.blogspot.com
